“Useful reports facilitate seamless management.”

Pros : I own a private institution that provides hospitality training to young aspirants. An essential part of the training process is evaluating the authenticity levels of each assignment submitted by individual students within their entire course period. Urkund Plagiarism Checker, with its detailed reports on detected plagiarism, makes the overall process a lot easier to operate.

Cons : I haven’t found any negatives in the software yet.

“Has facilitated significant changes within the system.”

Pros : Ever since we have started using Urkund Plagiarism Checker in our college, there has been a drop in the practice of plagiarism among students. It has also reduced the workload of our professors and guest lecturers significantly. Nowadays, students knowing about the software refrain from indulging in any kind of malpractice.

Cons : Sometimes, getting customer support takes time. The software is more suitable for institutions rather than for personal use.

Pros : You just don't need to do any manual work. The tool has awesome detection abilities with better technology than its competitors.

Cons : The software is little bit expensive as compared to others in this game. But i really got an awesome discount here on TechJockey.

“Accurate Plagiarism Detection but Limited Free Features”

Urkund's precision in identifying similarities is one of its best qualities. It can be annoying because the free edition is restricted and does not offer all the capabilities I require.

Pros : It is accurate and does a decent job of detecting similarities, so I do not have to worry much about missing copied content.

Cons : The free version is limited and does not give access to all features. This can be frustrating if I need more functionality.

Switched from : DrillBit Plagiarism Checker

Reason to switch : I moved from DrillBit Plagiarism Checker since Urkund gave me better integration with our LMS and a more user-friendly interface.

I can better grasp the origins of the content because to Urkund's incredibly thorough reports. It can be challenging to verify when it displays similarities but fails to provide a specific source for each match.

Pros : The reports are detailed; it highlights exact matches and gives sources to help me understand where the similarities are.

Cons : Sometimes it shows similarities, but it does not give me an exact source for every match. This makes it hard to verify.

Reason to switch : Urkund offered a higher level of detail in its reports which made the switch worth it.

Pros : Best feature I found in this tool is how it deals with self plagiarism.

Cons : The tool doesn't actually detect plagiarism, rather than it detects copied text.

Reason to switch : Accuracy to check copied text available in their database is really helpful.

“Great Integration but Takes Time for Larger Files”

Due to Urkund's excellent integration with our LMS, submitting assignments and running plagiarism checks is made easier. Although the process is smooth, processing larger papers can occasionally take a little longer.

Pros : It integrates well with Learning Management Systems. It is seamless for submitting assignments and running checks.

Cons : It can take a while to process longer documents so I might have to wait.

Reason to switch : I moved from Plagiarism Detector Pro to Urkund since it has a better integration with our LMS.

The layout of Urkund is incredibly user-friendly, which makes checking reports and submitting papers a breeze. I really like how easy it is to use the tool. When reading papers, it might be unpleasant when it identifies text that is not truly plagiarized.

Pros : The interface is user friendly and simple to navigate. It makes it easy to submit document and check reports.

Cons : It sometimes flags content that is not plagiarized. This is annoying when reviewing papers.

Reason to switch : Plagiarism Checker X was good, but Urkund’s interface was much easier to use and navigate.
