“Convenient Cloud Integration but Slows Down with Big Files”

I like how Plagiarism Detector Pro saves me a ton of time by allowing me to submit documents directly from Dropbox or Google Drive. However, it occasionally becomes a little sluggish when I upload particularly big files.

Pros : It enables me to directly pull documents straight from Google Drive or Dropbox.

Cons : Occasionally it lags with large files. Uploading huge files can slow it down.

Switched from : Quetext

Reason to switch : Quetext was good, but Plagiarism Detector Pro made the process much smoother.

“Quick and Reliable but Needs Free Version to Work”

It is simple to use; upload your file, and you will quickly receive a comprehensive analysis. But due of its small word count and advertisements, it made it difficult to rely on without subscribing.

Pros : I found it to be east to use. I just uploaded my document and done. It checks for plagiarism in an instant.

Cons : The free version felt limited. It is almost useless. It has a low work limit and barely checks properly.

Switched from : DrillBit Plagiarism Checker

Reason to switch : I wanted something faster and more dependable especially for large documents and Plagiarism delivered on that.

“Great for Multiple Languages but Needs a Mobile App”

The fact that Plagiarism Detector Pro can verify documents in several languages is great. It is awkward to use on my phone's browser and I wish there were a dedicated mobile app.

Pros : It checks multiple languages not only English. It is great for students across the world.

Cons : I wish there were a dedicated mobile app. When I use it on my phones browser it gets very clunky.

Reason to switch : I moved from Copyscape since it only supported English and I wanted a tool that could manage other languages.

“Great for Long Documents but Subscriptions Only”

I like that Plagiarism Detector Pro's premium edition has no word restriction. However, I would prefer a one-time payment option over a subscription-based one.

Pros : The premium version has no word limit. I do not have to break my documents into sections to run checks. Very handy for long essays and reports.

Cons : I dislike the fact that it is subscription based. I would prefer it to be a one-time payment option.

Reason to switch : Unicheck’s word limit made it hard to check lengthy documents all at once.

“Customizable Checks but Customer Support Needs Work”

The ability to adjust the sensitivity of Plagiarism Detector Pro's searches is something unique. However, their customer service is poor, and I did not receive prompt assistance when I needed it.

Pros : I like how it has customized it searches. You can tweak the sensitivity level, depending on how strict you want the check to be.

Cons : Their customer support is not the best. When things go wrong, they did not respond quickly enough.

Switched from : Crossplag

Reason to switch : I moved from Crossplag since it did not have the same level of customization for checks.

“Lifesaver for Paraphrasing but Needs Clearer Instructions”

Plagiarism Detector Pro has been helpful in making sure I do not unintentionally submit work that has been duplicated. I had to spend some time navigating the help area to understand some of the more complex functions.

Pros : It saved me from submitting plagiarized material to professors, especially with paraphrased content.

Cons : Some advanced features take time to understand and use. I had to dig through the help section to use them properly.

Switched from : PlagScan

Reason to switch : Plagiarism Detector Pro was better suited for my needs. PlagScan did not catch paraphrased content accurately.

I like that Plagiarism Detector Pro may be used with almost any type of material, including Word documents, PDFs, plain text, and more. It can be annoying when correctly paraphrased quotes are flagged as plagiarism.

Pros : It supports multiple file formats. Whether it is PDF, Word Doc, or even plain text. It works with all of them making life a little easier.

Cons : It has flagged some original quotes as plagiarism. This can be annoying.

Reason to switch : I switched since Urkund did not support as many file formats and uploading became a hassle.

Pros : The reports are very thorough. It highlights where it found the plagiarism which comes very handy.

Cons : The interface is clucky. It is functional but feels outdated. Navigating feels a bit awkward and slow.

Reason to switch : Plagiarism Checker X often missed smaller plagiarized parts and did not provide clear highlights.

The affordability of Plagiarism Detector Pro is great, especially for college students like me. But with all the advertisements, the free plan was a little annoying because I felt like I was being pressured to upgrade all the time.

Pros : It is reasonably priced and affordable. It is a budget friendly tool even college students can afford.

Cons : When I used to use the free plan, it felt that I was bombarded with ads every now and then.

Reason to switch : Plagiarism Detector Pro gave me better value of money than DupliChecker.
