“Fast and Reliable but Not Perfect”

I no longer manually look through documents, which saves me a ton of time. It can be a little annoying, because it is not always 100% correct and occasionally marks popular sentences as plagiarism.

Pros : It detects plagiarism really fast which saves me a lot of time compared to manually searching through documents.

Cons : It is not always 100% accurate. It sometimes flags common use phrases as plagiarism.

Reason to switch : I moved to Plag AI since it is much faster and covers more sources, giving me better results.

“Great for Thorough Checks but Needs an Upgrade”

Plag AI provides me with a thorough understanding of potential plagiarism concerns because it covers a broad range of sources. However, to fully benefit from the free plan's limited features, I had to upgrade to the premium version.

Pros : Plag AI covers a wide range of sources. It covers from academic papers to web content; I get a solid overview of potential issues.

Cons : The free plan does not have the features I want, so I ended up having to upgrade to the premium.

Reason to switch : Copyleaks did not provide a more thorough scan across different platforms.

“Easy to Use but Can be Slow with Large Files”

I like how easy it is to use Plag AI. It is quite easy to use because I do not need any technical knowledge to get started. I wish it could do better because it has trouble with large files and sometimes lag when scanning large papers.

Pros : The interface is simple. There is no need of technical knowledge to use it.

Cons : It does have trouble dealing with large files. For big documents, the tool can slow down a bit.

Switched from : PlagScan

Reason to switch : PlagScan was good, but it was hard to use and I had to deal with a steep learning curve.

“Clear Reports but Context Could Be Better”

Plag AI is great at providing section-by-section reporting and displaying the proportion of similarity. can be annoying because it occasionally overlooks context and identifies content that is not actually plagiarism.

Pros : I like how it reports everything in sections. It shows the similarity and linking to the original sources.

Cons : Occasionally it misses the context and might flag things that are not exactly plagiarism.

Switched from : Grammarly

Reason to switch : I moved to PlagAI since it gave me more detailed and structured reports.
