“Has VPN Integration but Basic Firewall”

Panda Antivirus was perfect for providing VPN integration, which was another feature I was looking for in an antivirus program. I can browse privately thanks to the built-in VPN. I do think the firewall should be more robust, though, to compete with other high-end antivirus programs.

Pros : I was in search of a solution that also offered VPN integration. The included VPN also lets me browse privately, which is great when I come on public Wi-Fi.

Cons : The firewall in my opinion is basic. It could have been more robust or secure to compete with other premium antivirus software.

Switched from : Mcafee Antivirus

Reason to switch : I switched from McAfee since it did not have an in-built VPN and I wanted a more complete solution.

“Great for Multiple Devices but is Limited for Mac Users”

I like that Panda Antivirus allows me to protect my PC, tablet, and phone with just one software. However, as a Mac user, I was disappointed to discover that the Mac version was not as good as the Windows version.

Pros : I really appreciate the multi-device compatibility and support. I have many devices and I like the fact that I can protect my PC, phone, and tablet with one product.

Cons : Being a primarily Mac user, I feel like the features there are limited. The Mac version feels lacking compared to the Windows version.

Switched from : REVE Antivirus

Reason to switch : I found that Pandas ability to protect my devices in one package was a big selling point for me compared to REVE Antivirus.

“Great Real-Time Protection”

Panda Antivirus does a great job of keeping me secure online with its real-time protection. When I explore and download things, I don't have to be concerned about malware. The one downside is that I get a lot of pop-ups telling me to upgrade to the premium edition, which can be a little bothersome.

Pros : It provides Real-Time Protection which gives me constant protection against malware and makes me feel safe while browsing and downloading files.

Cons : It can be annoying at times with the frequent pop-ups. They prompt me to upgrade to the premium version which can be distracting.

Switched from : Avast Antivirus

Reason to switch : Avast was starting to slow down my computer and it was feeling a bit too resource-heavy.

“Great Parental Controls but Lacks Customization”

I value Panda Antivirus's parental control capabilities as a parent since they enable me to limit what my children can view online. I would rather have more control over the settings, though, and I felt that the customizing possibilities were very limited.

Pros : As a parent, it is important to look for antiviruses that have parental control that can help me manage what my kids can access online.

Cons : I found it to lack of advanced customization. As for someone who likes to customize, I find the options to be limited.

Switched from : Malwarebytes

Reason to switch : Malwarebytes did not offer parental control features which is what I was specifically looking for in an antivirus.

“Lightweight but Needs a Stable Internet”

After using Panda Antivirus for a few months, I appreciate how portable it is. It operates silently in the background, ensuring my computer is always quick and fluid. When my connection is down, though, some of the features seem less dependable, which may occasionally be annoying.

Pros : It has a very lightweight performance, I barely notice it running in the background, which in turn keeps my computer running smoothly.

Cons : Sometimes my internet is down which leads to some of the protection features feeling less effective.

Switched from : Bitdefender Antivirus Plus

Reason to switch : BitDefender felt heavy on my system which was slowing down during scans. Panda Antivirus seemed like a better fit for me.

“Convenient Cloud Features but Lacks Offline Support”

Panda Antivirus's cloud-based technology is one of the main reasons I prefer it. It is quite convenient because it uses little disk space and automatically maintains everything up to date. But I've found that its offline protection is rather poor, which can be problematic when I'm not online.

Pros : I like the fact that it has cloud-based technology. Due to its cloud-based features, I do not need to worry about manual updates or hogging disk space.

Cons : I noticed it has limited offline protection. I wish it the solution had better offline capabilities for when I am not connected to the internet.

Switched from : ESET NOD32 Antivirus

Reason to switch : I switched from ESET Nod32 since it required regular manual updates and too up more system requirements than I preferred.

“Occasional False Positives but Handy USB Scanning”

Panda Antivirus's USB scanning capability is one of the reasons I use it. Every time I plug in my USB drives, it immediately scans them, protecting my PC when I share files. It can be a little aggravating, though, when it flags safe programs as dangers.

Pros : The USB scanning feature is such a huge help. It scans my USB drives automatically; it also keeps protecting me from future and potential threats when sharing files.

Cons : It does however give occasional false positives. It sometimes flags safe programs as threats, which can get frustrating.

Switched from : Norton Antivirus

Reason to switch : Norton was heavy on my system, which made everything slower. Panda felt lighter and more efficient as an option.

“Made for Gamers but the Premium Price is High”

Panda Antivirus offers an amazing "Gaming Mode" that lets me play uninterrupted. However, in my opinion, the premium edition is a little too costly, particularly in comparison to other antivirus programs available.

Pros : It does have a nice feature called the “Gaming Mode”. I can easily game without any interruptions when I am playing.

Cons : I found the premium to be quite expensive with premium costs. While the basic plan is cheap, the premium version however is a bit expensive compared to other brands.

Switched from : NPAV Net Protector Antivirus

Reason to switch : I switched to Panda from NPAV because it lacked some of the features, I wanted like a gaming mode and cloud base features

“Simple but Can Slow Down Older Systems”

I find Panda Antivirus straightforward to use because of its user-friendly interface. Despite my lack of technological expertise, I adore how simple it is to use. However, I've found that it lags a bit on my older PCs, especially when doing full scans.

Pros : It is easy to use as the interface is straightforward and user-friendly. It is perfect for someone who is not as tech-savvy like me and who values simplicity.

Cons : It does unfortunately slow down sometimes. In my older systems, I notice that it has been slowing down, especially during full scans.

Switched from : Systweak Antivirus

Reason to switch : Panda’s simplicity and ease of use made it a better choice for me. I moved from Systweak since it was not offering the level of protection I needed.

“Affordable and Reliable”

Panda Antivirus provides reasonably priced programs that are within my means, particularly when combined with sales and discounts. Although I think the features are good for the price, I do think the VPN's daily data cap is a little limiting. The cap is a drawback for someone like me who frequently uses the VPN and appreciates privacy.

Pros : It gives affordable plans. I found the pricing to be reasonable for the features it provides, especially with promotions.

Cons : The VPN is good but there is a data limit. This daily data limit is not ideal for heavy use and privacy-conscious consumers.

Switched from : Quick Heal AntiVirus Pro

Reason to switch : I moved from Quick Heal since it lacked many features that I was looking for and was not as comprehensive antivirus solution as Panda.
