“Organized and Easy”

I moved from Noteshelf because I needed better folder organization for my growing number of notes.

Pros : The inclusion of organized folders is great. It keeps my notes neat and tidy. No more scrolling to find that one note.

Cons : It does get slow and laggy when I manage larger notebooks occasionally.

“Perfect for Handwritten Notes Lovers”

Notewise feels as though I am writing in a real notebook because it is so fluid. This program might not be the best choice, if you enjoy integrating multimedia or conducting complex text revisions.

Pros : It had impressive handwriting features. If you like handwriting your notes, it is smooth and responsive like a real notebook.

Cons : The app is not for people who are into fancy text editing or multimedia integration. There are no advanced editing tools.

Reason to switch : GoodNotes was more complex and did not focus on handwriting as much as Notewise.

“Perfect fit Night Owls”

Notewise in Dark Mode is my favourite because it is easy on my eyes, especially when I am studying late at night. The only drawback is that I had to use another software because there is no flashcard connectivity.

Pros : There is a Dark Mode feature included. This is good for me since I am sensitive to light especially at night.

Cons : They do not have any flashcard integration. If you need it you would have to download a separate app for it.

Reason to switch : I needed a simpler, more focused on handwriting with a dark mode solution. Notewise works well for my needs.

“Reliable Backup for Peace of Mind”

Notewise's cloud backup feature is great. It makes switching between devices stress-free and protects my notes. It is a good app all around; I only wish it included collaboration features so I could work on notes with friends.

Pros : The cloud backup is a lifesaver. My notes are safe in case I switch devices. No more accidental mishaps.

Cons : I do not like that there are no collaboration features. I cannot co-edit notes with my friends or colleagues.

Reason to switch : Notewise made sure that I never lose my data and notes, which made me feel safer than my time in GoodNotes.

“Great for Exporting Notes”

Exporting my notes as PDFs or photos is quite simple using Notewise. However, using it on my PC or phone is not as seamless because it functions best on a tablet.

Pros : The provide good export options. You can save and share your notes as PDFs or images.

Cons : It is device specific which means that it works better on tablets. It is not as impressive in phones or desktops.

Switched from : Microsoft OneNote

Reason to switch : I switched from Microsoft OneNote to Notewise since I had a much better experience with Notewise.

“Great for On-the-Go Notetaking”

Notewise's offline functionality is one of its best features. I can do my work whether I am traveling or somewhere without Wi-Fi. The design's simplicity is its sole drawback. I had hoped for something a little flashy.

Pros : It is convenient that I can use it without any Wi-Fi access. I can still get my work done even when I am on the go.

Cons : It is plain and minimalist, which feels basic. The design is too plain for me.

Switched from : Obsidian

Reason to switch : I moved from Obsidian since it felt complex, and I could not use it as easily when compared to Notewise.

“Feels Just Like Pen and Paper”

I have had an amazing experience using Notewise on my tablet with a pen; it is incredibly fluid and natural, much like writing on paper. It may not be the ideal option if you like typing your notes because it is more focused on handwriting than typing.

Pros : It is stylus friendly and perfect if you are using it in a tablet. Feels like pen and paper.

Cons : It is more of a handwriting app rather than typing. The app does not feel as optimized for typing.

Switched from : S Memo

Reason to switch : S Memo was good, but Notewise felt much better and more responsive.

“Customizable Pages for Every Need”

I like that Notewise allows me to choose between grid, lined, or blank pages; it gives my notes a more unique feel and fits my writing style. The restricted selection of cloud alternatives is the sole drawback, it has not been a major problem for me.

Pros : It allows you to personalise your pages. You can choose from a blank, lined or grid paper.

Cons : Notewise has limited cloud options. It might not support all your favourite cloud storage functions.

Switched from : Samsung Notes

Reason to switch : I switched from Samsung Notes because I needed a more customization for my notes page.

“A Great App for Handwritten Notes”

It feels like writing on paper because of its smooth handwriting qualities and ease of usage. But the only drawback is that some of the more sophisticated functions are behind a barrier.

Pros : The app is well made and easy to navigate. You will not feel lost trying to take notes.

Cons : In the free plan you will not get all the features included. Some features are locked behind a paywall.

Switched from : Penly

Reason to switch : I moved from Penly to Notewise since I needed a more intuitive app with better handwriting features and easier cloud backup.

“Audio Sync Makes It a Winner”

Notewise's audio synchronization tool is great. My meetings and classes are so much more effective now that I can record while taking notes. Even though it took me a little while to understand some of the more complex functions.

Pros : One tool that I use the most is the Audio Syncing tool. I can record audio while taking notes during classes or meetings.

Cons : The advanced features can be a little bit hard to learn. While it is simple overall some features are not.

Switched from : Kilonotes

Reason to switch : I wanted an app with a reliable audio syncing feature for my lectures. Notewise turned out to be the perfect fit for it.
