“A complete antivirus software to protect your computer.”

Pros : I am very much satisfied with the security features provided by Norton Antivirus. It has a simple interface and is easy to use. Norton Antivirus software helps with real-time protection from viruses and malware. It also assists in password management and security management.

Cons : It is a little difficult for complete beginners to learn to use it.

Switched from : Quick Heal Total Security

Reason to switch : It needs a very frequent update which is frustrating at times.

““Give 100% protection to your system with Norton Antivirus.””

Pros : I like this version of Norton Antivirus because I can easily use it to scan my computer, find out what is missing in the protection and update it accordingly. The interface of Norton Antivirus is very simple, and I find it very easy to use.

Cons : I haven’t encountered any problem yet which is worth mentioning here.

Switched from : McAfee Total Security

Reason to switch : There are a lot of issues such as frequent system crashing, performance issues, slow refresh, slow processing of files, etc. to switch from Mcafee Antivirus.

““Norton- A trusted name in the security industry!””

Pros : I used to use another antivirus software earlier. However, now I have switched to Norton Antivirus. I realized that with many viruses and malware out there, Norton Antivirus is the best because it constantly updates to stay one step ahead of the latest threats. The software is easy to install and use and best of all, it's easy to update as well.

Cons : When compared to other apps, it can sometimes take a long time to scan the entire system.

Switched from : eScan Internet Security

Reason to switch : eScan lacks a lot of security tools and doesn’t even effectively trace malicious websites.

“Good for Families but No Free Plan”

Norton Antivirus works on multiple devices. It is super convenient for my family since we can all stay protected by our gadgets. What is not good is that it does not provide a free plan to try out the features beforehand.

Pros : I like that it supports multiple devices and has cross-platform compatibility, I can use it on multiple devices which can be convenient for my family’s needs.

Cons : There is no free plan where users can see the features that the solution offers, which is disappointing since I think a lot more people would get it since it provides decent features.

Switched from : SentinelOne Singularity

Reason to switch : SentinelOne did not offer easy cross-platform support when compared to Nortons multi-device compatibility.

“Robust Firewall but Slow First Scan”

It is great knowing that Norton’s firewall is blocking unauthorized access and keeping my system safe. The first full system scan was a bit longer than expected and I had deadlines to meet that day.

Pros : Top-notch firewall protection, it feels reassuring to have a secure firewall that helps block all unauthorized access to my system.

Cons : I booted up the software in my system and it took a lot of time in the first full system scan. I already had a busy day and my work got suffered due to this.

Switched from : Webroot Business Endpoint

Reason to switch : Webroot Business Endpoint did not provide the same level of firewall protection and I wanted something stronger to safeguard my computer.

“Great Security, Annoying Pop-Ups”

I like the regular updates that have kept me protected from threats, it is comforting to know my system is always up to date. However, the constant pop-ups and notifications get annoying sometimes.

Pros : I like how the software provides regular updates which ensure that I am protected from potential threats which keeps me safe and comfortable while using my computer.

Cons : I find the frequent notifications, which constantly come as pop-ups and notifications are annoying and feel too forced.

Switched from : Bitdefender Antivirus Plus

Reason to switch : I moved from Bitdefender since it started to slow down my system during scans and I wanted something lighter and did not compromise my work.

“Handy Password Manager”

The password manager feature in Norton Antivirus makes it easier for me to securely store and generate strong passwords without any problem. That said, whenever I run a thorough scan, my system slows down a bit.

Pros : The password manager is a neat feature which is there in the solution, which helps me securely store and generate strong passwords.

Cons : It does take some resource usage during scans. Even though it is lightweight, when I run thorough scans, it slows down which can hamper my work speed.

Switched from : CrowdStrike Falcon

Reason to switch : I moved from CrowdStrike since I wanted an all-in-one solution that could also help me with password security.

“Solid Protective Antivirus”

I recently switched to Norton Antivirus, and so far, it's been a pleasant experience. I feel like I have complete security against ransomware, malware, spyware, and viruses. That said, the renewal fees surprised me because they are significantly more costly than the original cost.

Pros : Norton gave me complete security, and I feel safe and comfortable knowing that it can successfully fend off ransomware, malware, spyware, and viruses while I am using my device.

Cons : The renewal fees were quite high when I compared it to other antivirus solutions.

Switched from : ESET NOD32 Antivirus

Reason to switch : ESET was not offering the same amount of ransomware protection and additional features. Norton felt like it was a better suit for my needs.

Norton Antivirus has been a decent experience so far. It’s simple, user-friendly layout is easy to navigate and tweak the settings without being too complicated. That said, I was a bit disappointed to see that some advanced features are locked.

Pros : I find the layout is quite simple and user-friendly, which makes it easier for me to navigate and configure the settings.

Cons : There are certain limitations in the base plan. I have noticed that some advanced features are only available in higher-tier plans.

Switched from : Mcafee Antivirus

Reason to switch : McAfee’s interface felt too complicated and outdated, Norton seemed like the hassle-free solution that I was searching for.

“Lifesaver with Backup”

I had a moment of panic when I lost my files, Nortons backup feature saved the day! It felt wonderful to recover all my lost files and know that I was protected against ransomware and hardware issues. I am not a fan of the subscription model – I prefer a one-time purchase option.

Pros : One day I lost my files and found out that Norton has a backup feature. The secure backup is what protected my files in cases of ransomware or hardware failure and I got my files back.

Cons : I really do not like the subscription model pricing system; I wish it were a one-time purchase option instead of a subscription.

Switched from : Sophos Intercept

Reason to switch : Sophos did not have a reliable backup feature and I wanted protection for my files in cases of emergencies like my PC shutting down.
