“Great Server Network, But Lacks Browser Extensions”

I have been using IPVanish for a while, and I appreciate how many servers it provides in so many unusual places. However, I miss having a browser addon. It would have made light and rapid browsing much more convenient.

Pros : It has thousands of servers in over seventy-five locations, which is a quite wide server network. I have plenty of options to bypass geo-restrictions and find a fast server nearby.

Cons : One of the major drawbacks is that it has no browser extension. There was no browser extension for some browsers. I miss this since it would have been more convenient for light browsing.

Switched from : Windscribe

Reason to switch : I moved from Windscribe to IPVanish since I wanted a VPN with a larger server network and better overall speeds.

“Good for Streaming but Servers Can Get Crowded”

The major reason I use IPVanish is that it works well for unblocking streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix. However, I have found that during busy times, some servers become overcrowded, which causes lag and becomes a little annoying.

Pros : One of the major reasons I am using this VPN is because it unblocks streaming services. I can rely on it for unblocking streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. which is a bonus for me.

Cons : Its servers sometimes get crowded which leads to server overload. At peak times, I have experienced some slowdowns when I connect to certain servers, this can be frustrating.

Switched from : Hotspot Shield

Reason to switch : I moved from Hotspot Shield as it was not as consistent with unblocking streaming platforms. IPVanish worked well for me.

“User-Friendly but Needs More Transparency”

The ease of use of IPVanish is something I like. I had no trouble setting up or modifying the settings because the software is easy to use. To support their no-logs promises, they could be more open about their security audits.

Pros : It has an easy-to-use interface. I found the app to be intuitive and user-friendly. I did not have to struggle with the setup or even the settings to start using it.

Cons : IPVanish has not always been transparent about its internal security audits. Even though they claim to have a no-logs policy, I found that they have limited transparency.

Switched from : NordVPN

Reason to switch : I needed a solution that was simpler and more budget-friendly. NordVPN was not providing me with these so I moved to IPVanish.

“Rish-Free but Not Perfect for Geo-Blocking”

I like that IPVanish gives it risk-free to check it out with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Knowing that I could get my money back if I was not satisfied made me feel secure. But I did see that some websites are still prohibited, so it is not the ideal way to get around all geo-restrictions.

Pros : It offers a money-back guarantee. The 30-day money-back guarantee makes me feel safe. In case I am not satisfied with the service I can get my money back.

Cons : There are inconsistencies with some of the websites. There are still certain websites that are blocked from my access. Despite using IPVanish, it was not the most ideal solution to avoid geo-blocking.

Switched from : MEGA VPN

Reason to switch : MEGA VPN did not perform well for Streaming and had slower speeds. IPVanish was a better option due to its policy and guarantee.

“Perfect for Families but Lacks Advanced Features”

The ability to connect as many devices as I choose is my favorite feature of IPVanish. It is ideal for my entire family. That said, I do wish it had more advanced capabilities, such as additional customizing choices for heavy users.

Pros : My favorite feature about IPVanish is that I can connect unlimited devices as I want. This is great since I can connect my family’s devices to the same account.

Cons : It does not have a lot of advanced features. For advanced users, IPVanish could have offered more customization options such as tunneling protocols and kill switch features.

Switched from : Xeovo VPN

Reason to switch : I wanted a VPN that worked for my family, and IPVanish’s unlimited device connections convinced me it was better than Xeovo VPN.

“Secure and Private but Lacks Some Torrenting Options”

The main reason I started using IPVanish was its no-logs policy, which gives me peace of mind that my browsing is secret. I did see that there are not many servers that are geared for torrenting, which occasionally can be a bit restrictive.

Pros : I can feel safe and secure during my browsing sessions knowing that it offers a no-logs policy. It is always nice knowing that your data is not being tracked or stored.

Cons : It has limited P2P servers. Even though it supports P2P, there are still very few servers optimized for torrenting compared to other VPN providers.

Switched from : MullVAD

Reason to switch : Mullvad was too basic for me. IPVanish’s no-logs policy and strong security made it an easy choice for protecting my online privacy.

“Fast and Reliable, But a Bit Pricey”

I do not have to put up with buffering whether I am streaming, gaming, or just surfing. Even for someone like me who is not very tech-savvy, the app is simple to use. However, after the initial discount, I do think it is a bit overpriced in comparison to other VPNs I have used.

Pros : IPVanish has good speeds. While I was having an intense session, I noticed that it had fast speeds even when I was gaming and streaming.

Cons : Even after the initial discount I found IPVanish to still be pricier than some of the other VPNs. Even though it is still not the most expensive.

Switched from : Proton VPN

Reason to switch : I moved to IPVanish since Proton VPN was slowing me down. I wanted a faster and more reliable solution, and IPVanish delivered just that.

“Strong Security but No Ad Blocker”

With its several security measures and AES 256-bit encryption, IPVanish has been excellent at protecting my data. Knowing that my information is secure when I am online makes me feel much more at ease. My surfing experience would have been much better if it had an integrated ad blocker.

Pros : IPVanish uses AES 256-bit encryption and supports multiple security protocols. I feel secure knowing that my data is kept safe because it offers such strong security.

Cons : Most VPNs with a premium usually offer an in-built ad blocker. Unlike some VPNs, IPVanish does not offer an ad-blocking feature, which is a downside for many.

Switched from : RiseupVPN

Reason to switch : RiseupVPN is because I wanted a stronger security feature and more connections. IPVanish gave me the protection and performance for which I was searching.

“Great Control with Split Tunnelling but No Dedicated IP”

It allows me to control which websites or apps use the VPN. I like IPVanish’s split tunneling option. I have more control over my internet traffic, and it is convenient. But the lack of a dedicated IP option, which some people might require, disappointed me a little.

Pros : The split tunneling feature is great since I can choose which apps or websites go through the VPN and which do not. This gives me more control over my traffic when I am going through the internet.

Cons : There is no dedicated IP option. Unlike some VPNs, it does not offer a dedicated IP address, this could be a dealbreaker for certain use cases.

Switched from : Cyberghost

Reason to switch : I moved from CyberGhost since I needed better control over my traffic, and IPVanish’s features offered just that.
