“Best Email Security but Lacks Cloud Backup”

eScan for me has been excelling at protecting me from email phishing and frauds. I wish it included cloud backup options for added security is the only feature that would really give it a 10/10.

Pros : I appreciate that it has highly effective email security. It gave me security when it came to protecting me from spam and phishing.

Cons : One of its biggest drawbacks is that it has no cloud backup integration. It does not have built-in cloud backup options which I would have liked for extra protection.

Switched from : CrowdStrike Falcon

Reason to switch : I moved from CrowdStrike Falcon because its email protection was not as robust and did not focus on keeping my inbox secure.

“The best antivirus software I've ever used!”

Pros : I was looking for a good antivirus program to keep my computer safe and secure and I found this. eScan Antivirus is a solid antivirus program that keeps the network protected from malware attacks. It has a layered approach and helps in signature-based malware detection and behavior analysis. I have been using it for a few months now and it's working well.

Cons : I feel that it is a bit more complicated than other software.

Switched from : Quick Heal AntiVirus Pro

Reason to switch : Many times, it has failed to completely detect the viruses.

“The ultimate security solution for your devices.”

Pros : eScan Antivirus is antivirus software that protects the network from viruses, malware, ransomware, bots, and more. I have been using it for a long and I am loving to use it. It uses a layered approach to protect the home network from viruses, malware, ransomware, bots, and other cyber threats.

Cons : I haven’t found any issues in eScan Antivirus software ever.

Switched from : Mcafee Antivirus

Reason to switch : I believe this software requires some more optimization because otherwise, it makes the system slow.

“Great for Multiple Devices nut Mobile Needs Work”

eScan having just one license across my devices is super convenient for me. However, the mobile version is not as polished as the PC one, which makes it feel less secure on mobile devices.

Pros : I own a lot of different devices, and it is very convenient that I can use one license across all devices that I have.

Cons : Even though it offers licenses across all devices, it lacks in mobile app performance. The mobile version does not feel as polished or secure as the desktop version.

Switched from : GoTo Resolve

Reason to switch : I moved from GoTo Resolve since it did not offer multi-device support with a single licence which was too much hassle for me.

“Easy to Use but Limited Free Version”

The simple and intuitive interface is a big plus for someone like me who is not very tech-savvy. The free version however does not offer many features compared to other antivirus software.

Pros : I like the user-friendly interface, it is simple and intuitive with its interface making it easier for users who are not as tech-savvy to know what they are doing.

Cons : I use the free version and found out that it is limited in features compared to competitors.

Switched from : ESET PROTECT

Reason to switch : I switched from ESET PROTECT since its interface was complicated and I wanted something easier to navigate.

“Great Support for Beginners”

Whenever I come across a hurdle or obstacle eScan’s customer support has been a lifesaver, they are always responsive and helpful when I have issues. As for someone who is new to antivirus software, the initial setup was challenging but their support team guided me.

Pros : Whenever I came across an issue or a problem, I could always count on customer support, and they were always responsive and helpful.

Cons : Since I was new to antivirus software, the initial setup and understanding took some time to understand and learn.

Switched from : Central

Reason to switch : Central did not have good customer service as eScans as it wasn’t as responsive, and I needed help in understanding software and antivirus platforms.

“Smoothest Antivirus Solution Out There”

eScan suits my workflow and works great for my system since it does not slow it down due to its lightweight framework. The only drawback is that sometimes it uses a bit more CPU during scans but it's manageable.

Pros : It does not impact my system at all. It runs smoothly on my systems without ever slowing them down too much.

Cons : Sometimes it would use more CPU during scans, it is minor but still worth mentioning.

Switched from : Sophos Intercept X

Reason to switch : Sophos Intercept X was slowing down my system, especially during updates and scans. eScan offered a much better experience.

“Solid Protection with Minor Glitches”

eScans anti-ransomware feature is great for blocking any suspicious URLs and attachments. Sometimes however the updates fail to install properly which is a bit annoying.

Pros : Its anti-ransomware feature is neat and gives me confidence against evolving cyber threats. It prevents me from accessing suspicious URLs and attachments.

Cons : It has a small update issue where the updates failed to be installed properly.

Switched from : Microsoft Defender

Reason to switch : Microsoft Defender did not provide strong ransomware protection. eScans advanced features make me feel much safer.

“Reliable Protection”

eScan’s ability to detect and block viruses, malware, and spyware is top-notch and gives me peace of mind. That said, it sometimes flags files and applications as threats.

Pros : It has efficient threat detection. eScan does a decent job at detecting and blocking viruses, malware, and spyware.

Cons : However, it does come with some false positives such as flagging safe files and applications which can be frustrating.

Switched from : ThreatDown

Reason to switch : ThreatDown did not catch malware attacks as efficiently and that disrupted my work files. I wanted software with strong detection capabilities and eScan was highly recommended.

“Keeps Me Safe with Regular Updates”

I like how eScan regularly updates its antivirus – it reassures that my devices are protected from the latest threats. One of the downsides of the program is that the advanced settings can be a little overwhelming when I try to configure them.

Pros : The fact that it gives regular updates gives me peace of mind since new threats and malware would not be affecting me or entering my devices at all.

Cons : The advanced settings sometimes overwhelm me when I want to configure the program.

Switched from : Symactec End

Reason to switch : Symantec End felt outdated and did not provide timely updates. eScan’s frequent updates make me feel secure.
