Pros : I've been using Premiere Pro for a few years now, and it is a powerful video editor to say the least. Premiere Pro also offers a myriad of video and audio effects, which makes it easy to add cool effects or just to clean up the audio. Overall, this is a high-end video editor that is perfect for those who are looking to work professionally in the video editing arena.

Cons : It might take some time to learn the software if you're a beginner. However, with proper practice over a period, one can become a pro.

Reason to switch : It has a lot of bugs, and it keeps on constantly crashing. Many times, there have been issues with exporting Camtasia videos as well.
