“Amazing for Sales Teams but Mobile Could Be Better”

My sales team uses the territory management and customer targeting tools on a regular basis, and they have increased our productivity. While the mobile app is good, it does not have all the features I receive on the desktop version.

Pros : The customer targeting and territory management features are great. It is like a lifesaver for my sales team.

Cons : The mobile app does have a few limitations. The mobile app is all right but it does not have the functionality of the desktop version.

Reason to switch : We switched from Adaptive Compliance Engine to Veeva since its features for territory management and customer targeting are a perfect fit.

“Great for Team Collaboration but Costs Add Up”

It makes it quite simple for my marketing, sales, and medical teams to remain in sync effectively. Nevertheless, the expenditures of implementation and continuing upkeep are expensive, particularly when compared to the licensing payments.

Pros : It is a good CRM for collaboration as it makes it easier for my sales, marketing, and medical teams to stay on the same page.

Cons : The implementation and ongoing maintenance costs add up faster than expected. Not only the licensing.

Switched from : Pluto Bio

Reason to switch : Pluto Bio was missing the collaborative tools we needed to sync different teams effectively. We moved to Veeva for its ability to collaborate.

“Flexible and Cloud-Based but Slow Support”

I like Veeva's cloud-based architecture as it allows me to operate remotely without being constrained by sluggish installs or upgrades. However, when I am stuck and need assistance right away, the support staff might be slow to react.

Pros : I can work from anywhere and I do not have to worry about the slow installs due to its cloud-based nature.

Cons : The support team is slow. Whenever I run into an issue, the support team is not as quick as I would like them to be.

Reason to switch : ACTO did not offer the flexibility I needed for remote work.

“Great for Insights but Overkill for Small Teams”

One of my favorite features is the dashboards' real-time insights, which are helpful when it comes to making snap judgments. However, Veeva seems designed for larger companies, thus it seems a little too complicated for my tiny company.

Pros : It helps me a lot with decision making thanks to the dashboards which gives me insights in real-time.

Cons : I found it too complex for small teams. It feels like an overkill for smaller teams and feels like it is built for larger organizations.

Switched from : Dot Compliance QMS

Reason to switch : Veeva’s real time dashboards made it clear that it would be a better fit for our growing needs.

“Top-Notch Security but Can Be Buggy”

Veeva has excellent data security as it satisfies high security requirements. I have occasionally encountered glitches which can be bothersome when I need everything to function flawlessly for important activities.

Pros : There is excellent data security. I trust the system with sensitive customer data. It meets all the high-security standards.

Cons : I have come across some bugs here and there. This can be frustrating during critical tasks.

Reason to switch : Life Sciences Omnichannel CRM did not have the same level of security or reliability that we needed for managing sensitive data.

“A Lifesaver for Compliance but Takes Time to Learn”

The integrated features for regulatory compliance are game changing. It is such a relief that audits no longer cause me anxiety. To be honest it took me and my team some time to figure things out, so it was not love at first sight.

Pros : There is regulatory compliance. The features are baked in and it is such a relief. No more panicking about audits.

Cons : At first it took me and my team awhile to get used to it. It is not the most intuitive at first.

Reason to switch : Vodori did not have the level of compliance tools we needed unlike Veeva.

“Great for Customization but Updates Can Be Disruptive”

Veeva's ability to allow me to modify workflows to meet the demands of my team has improved efficiency. Even though the frequent updates are intended to make things better, they sometimes interfere with our workflow and introduce new bugs that cause lag.

Pros : It allows me to customize my workflows to match my teams needs. This makes things much more efficient.

Cons : The constant updates are in theory but sometimes they disrupt workflow and introduce new glitches.

Reason to switch : We switched because Phyzii Pharma CRM did not have flexibility to keep up with our teams’ growing demands.

“Perfect for Life Sciences but Pricey”

Veeva is great for anyone working in the bio sciences; it seems to have been created just for us. Let us face it is not inexpensive. The expense may cause you to reconsider if your business is small.

Pros : I like how Veeva us built for the life sciences industry. Finally, a CRM that specializes in my industry.

Cons : Veeva’s pricing is not the most budget-friendly, especially if you are a smaller company.

Switched from : Inception CRM

Reason to switch : We switched to Veeva since we wanted something that really understood the life sciences space.

“Great Mobile App but Customization Could Be Easier”

I like how seamless the mobile app is; updating records or checking information while on the go is convenient. Customizing the system is more difficult than I would like, making it meet our wants can occasionally feel a little annoying.

Pros : The mobile app is smooth. I can update records and check info on the go without pulling my laptop.

Cons : The customization features feel more complicated than it needs to be.

Reason to switch : We switched to Veeva since Scilife did not offer better mobile functionality and more advanced tools.

“Great Integrations but Heavily Tied to Salesforce”

Veeva's seamless integration with Salesforce and other products I already use is highly appealing to me. It functions well in my setup and feels comfortable. However, the dependence on Salesforce may get a little bothersome if you are not into it.

Pros : It integrates well with Salesforce. It is familiar and integrates well with other tools that I use.

Cons : I experienced that it depends on Salesforce. So, if you are not a salesforce fan the dependency on it might bug you.

Reason to switch : Ideagen PleaseReview was good but it did not offer the integrations we needed for our workflow.
