“An Unremarkable Photo Enhancer”

As an AI-powered photo enhancement tool, I did not find Uncrop AI to be very capable. While it marginally improved the size and sharpness of my low-quality test images, the results remained obviously degraded with no meaningful restoration of detail.

Pros : Easy to upload images quickly with minimal sharpening achieved

Cons : Unable to recover the lost quality of the images if unsatisfied with the output

Reason to switch : I decided to try Uncrop AI based on its marketed ability to enlarge and enhance pixelated images beyond their initial resolution. But it failed to deliver any serious improvements.

“A Limited Tool for AI-Enhanced Images”

I found Uncrop AI to offer some handy but restricted AI image enhancement tools. The enlargement and noise reduction worked to a degree, but significant quality issues remained. More advanced features like inpainting and face enhancement were buggy. Overall, the results were mediocre.

Pros : It has easy to use web interface with some blur reduction and enlargement functionalities

Cons : It has significant artifacts, failed inpainting, faces improvement bugs and control limitations

Reason to switch : I wanted to thoroughly test Uncrop's range of AI photo-improving features beyond just upscaling. But found the non-enhancement tools to be lacking.

I hoped Uncrop AI would offer robust AI-enhanced photo improvement with its array of features. Unfortunately, aside from basic upscaling and sharpening, the other tools consistently underdelivered with glitchy results and artifacts. The AI requires better training and refinement.

I found Uncrop AI to be a handy tool for enlarging and enhancing low-resolution images. It made my blurry photos clearer and created nice larger versions of my small pics. However, the quality is dependent on the input, and for very pixelated images it can only do so much.

Pros : It allows for enhancing photos and saving the results while retaining clarity

Cons : Heavily pixelated inputs have limited improvement

Reason to switch : I chose to try Uncrop AI to see how well it could recover detail from my low-resolution pictures. I had some pixelated old images I wanted to improve and enlarge. It provided a quick and easy way to enhance these pics.
