“Responsive Customer Support, Firewall Could Be Better”

The round-the-clock customer service provided by REVE Antivirus is quite impressive; it is prompt and always beneficial when I have inquiries. The firewall feels a little simple, which is its one drawback. I wish it had more sophisticated customizing choices.

Pros : It offers one of the best customer support services and 24/7 support. Whenever I have had any questions, the customer support has been helpful, responsive, and available round the clock.

Cons : One of my only drawbacks about the software is that the firewall does seem quite basic, I feel like it could used more advanced customization options.

Switched from : Microsoft Defender

Reason to switch : Microsoft Defender did not have good customer service since I was running into system security problems a lot.

“Decent For Everyday Use”

After using REVE Antivirus for some time, I have found it to be rather dependable generally. Because I am not tech-savvy, I appreciate how simple it is to use. Additionally, it effectively detects spyware and safeguards my gadgets. I do, however, miss some of the more sophisticated functions that other high-end antivirus programs provide, such as VPN and sandboxing.

Pros : I have found that it has a user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for me to navigate. Most of the things are laid out clearly, so I do not have to waste time figuring out how to use it.

Cons : It feels like it lacking some advanced features. When I was comparing it to some premium antivirus products, it had limited advanced features like sandboxing and VPN.

Switched from : Symantec End-user

Reason to switch : I moved to REVE Antivirus because Symantec felt too complicated for me and I did not really need all the advanced features that it provided.

“Great Parental Controls but Needs Modern Look”

As a parent, the parental control features in REVE Antivirus are my favorites, it makes me feel safe and comfortable knowing that my kids are protected from their online activities. That said, the interface is a bit outdated and could use a modern touch-up.

Pros : Being a parent it is important to have antiviruses that support parental control features. These parental control features are a bonus for me, as they help in monitoring my kid’s online activities.

Cons : I feel like the UI could have been more modern. While it is functional, the interface looks a bit outdated to me and requires some updates.

Switched from : Sophos Intercept X

Reason to switch : Sophos was focused on business needs and I wanted something that was family-friendly with parental controls. REVE offered what exactly I wanted.

“Safe Browsing but Needs Smoother Updates”

The secure browsing function of REVE Antivirus is something I appreciate because it has prevented me from visiting dubious websites on a few occasions. However, I have found that occasionally upgrades might be glitchy, resulting in small issues that need to be fixed.

Pros : It really protects you from online presence. Being a very privacy-conscious user, the safe browsing feature has prevented me from visiting shady websites a couple of times.

Cons : I have seen that it does have occasional updates that are buggy. After certain updates, I have encountered minor glitches that need troubleshooting.

Switched from : Central

Reason to switch : Since Central did not provide the same degree of online security I needed; I moved to REVE Antivirus. For me, REVE was a superior option because of its emphasis on privacy and secure browsing.

“Multi-Device Compatibility but Mobile App Could Be Better”

REVE Antivirus functions well on all my devices—my laptop, PC, and smartphone—It has multi-device compatibility. Having a single antivirus program for all purposes is practical. But compared to the PC version, which may use some work, the mobile app feels less safe.

Pros : I really appreciate it for having multi-device compatibility since it works across all my different devices, where it is my laptop, PC, or smartphone.

Cons : I feel that the mobile app does have certain limitations. It does not feel as secure as the desktop one.

Switched from : Acronis Cyber Protect

Reason to switch : Acronis was more focused on backups, and I needed a simpler antivirus solution for all my devices. REVE offered better compatibility and ease of use.

“Lightweight and Easy on My System”

Because REVE Antivirus is so light, I barely notice it running on my laptop, even when it is doing complete scans. Having an antivirus program that does not slow me down is good. The absence of a trial or free version, which I would have loved to experience before purchasing, is the drawback.

Pros : It is very lightweight since my laptop does not feel any different when I am running it in the background. It does not slow down my system much even when I am running a full scan.

Cons : There is no free version, not even a free trial.

Switched from : Webroot Business Endpoint

Reason to switch : REVE Antivirus was my preferred choice since Webroot was too complicated and business-focused for my personal needs.

From the Antivirus software I was searching for, I choose REVE Antivirus since it was budget-friendly and offered good features for the price. It provided robust protection and fair value. The only issue was that it had a few false positive instances and flagged my programs and files as threats.

Pros : I have been searching for affordable antivirus solutions that do not break the bank and offer top quality functionality. For the features it offers, the pricing feels reasonable to me.

Cons : It does come with the occasional false positives, however. It has flagged some of my files and programs as threats which can be a little annoying.

Switched from : ThreatDown

Reason to switch : I made a move to REVE Antivirus since ThreatDown was too expensive for me to maintain. I wanted a reliable and affordable option.

I really appreciate how REVE Antivirus saves me a ton of time by allowing me to tailor my scans to concentrate on files and folders. I was first apprehensive about my choice, though, because there are not many impartial reviews of the software.

Pros : The customizable scans are a big plus for me. I appreciate that I can set it up to scan only the specific files and folders which saves time for me.

Cons : I feel a bit skeptical that it has limited third-party reviews. I have noticed that it is not widely reviewed by trusted independent sources, which made me hesitant at first.

Switched from : CrowdStrike Falcon

Reason to switch : CrowdStrike Falcon was a little too complex and enterprise-focused for my personal uses. I prefer REVE’s simple and user-friendly approach.

“Keeps Up with Threats but Need Faster Scans”

My favorite thing about REVE Antivirus is that it gives regular updates which gives me peace of mind that it is keeping up with emerging threats. It can be a little inconvenient, though, because the full system scans take longer than I would want.

Pros : I really like that it updates the virus detection frequently. I have seen that it updates regularly which makes me feel like it is keeping up with new and potential threats.

Cons : I have found out that it takes time when fully scan my PC. These full systems scans took longer than expected on the PC.

Switched from : GoTo Resolve

Reason to switch : I moved to REVE Antivirus since GoTo Resolve is more focused on remote support and did not meet my requirements for regular antivirus protection.

“Reliable Protection with Minor Lag Spike”

So far, REVE Antivirus has shown to be a reliable option for me. It is excellent at swiftly identifying spyware, which gives me peace of mind when working or using the internet. The only drawback is that, occasionally, it can be annoying when my computer slows down a little when updating.

Pros : It has strong malware detection capabilities. I notice that it catches most malware quickly which makes me feel safe while browsing and using my computer daily.

Cons : It does require some system usage during updates. When it updates, my system sometimes lags more than I would like.

Switched from : ESET PROTECT

Reason to switch : ESET PROTECT was too expensive for me and I also wanted something that offered good protection without being too expensive.
