“Customizable but overwhelming at first”

I adore RemNote's flexibility; it allows me to make my own tags, links, and categories. However, the interface can feel a little congested, making it difficult for a newbie to know where to begin.

Pros : It is customizable as it allows me to create my own tags, links and categories is great. It makes organizing everything exactly how I want it easier.

Cons : The interface can be crowded with many options. Therefore, beginners might find it hard to know where to focus.

“Great for Study Organization but Takes Time to Master”

RemNote is a time-saver for studying, and I love how it instantly converts my notes into flashcards! It takes some time to figure out how to utilize everything correctly, but once I figured it out it was worth the wait.

Pros : The flashcard feature is unique, I like how RemNote allows me to turn my notes into flashcards automatically. It saves me time, especially when I am studying.

Cons : It requires a steep learning curve. It took me a while to get used to the features and how to navigate properly.

Reason to switch : Notion was great for general notetaking, but it did not have the features I wanted to improve my learning efficiency.

“Works Offline but Needs Better Syncing”

RemNote's ability to function without an internet connection is fantastic; it is quite practical when I am on the go. However, my workflow can occasionally be disrupted by bothersome synchronization problems.

Pros : I can use it without any internet connection. This is great since when I am on the go, I do not need to rely on the wi-fi.

Cons : I found that it has sync issues. Sometimes, I experience syncing issues between devices which is annoying.

RemNote's visual knowledge graph is great; it makes it easy to see the connections between various kinds of information. It can be annoying, too, because the free version has several restrictions, and I cannot use all the advanced features.

Pros : The visual knowledge graph is helpful when I want to see the connections between different pieces of information.

Cons : The free version has limitations in some ways. Like not having access to advanced features unless I upgrade.

“Syncs Perfectly but Needs More Templates”

I like how RemNote syncs with all my devices; it is very practical and keeps my notes organized. The only drawback is that I must make my own templates because there are not many pre-made ones accessible.

Pros : It allows cross-platform syncing. Having everything synced across all my devices is a huge plus. I never lose track of my notes.

Cons : There are not many pre-built templates as I would like to use. I must create my own templates which is time consuming.

I value how RemNote easily combines study techniques with programs I already use, such as Anki. However, I lose out on some functions when using my phone because the mobile app is a little more limited.

RemNote's support for Markdown is fantastic; it makes writing and formatting my notes feel so easy and natural. However, it is not the best when it comes to teamwork. I must use other technologies, like Google Docs if I must collaborate.

Pros : It has Markdown support; this makes writing super simple and it makes formatting my notes feel more natural.

Cons : Not the best for collaboration work If I want to work on something with others. RemNote is not as collaborative as other tools, like Google Docs.

RemNote's ability to allow me to make nested notes is fantastic for structuring everything and keeping my ideas organized. The only drawback is that I must use a third-party program because I cannot record audio directly into the app.

I like how simple it is to browse through all my notes in RemNote; it easily enables me to locate what I need. The drawback is that using larger notes might occasionally cause lag.

Cons : I have experienced performance issues on larger notes. It can get laggy which disrupts my workflow.
