“totally satisfied with the service”

Pros : Great service! I ran across the site which looking for software options for software system. I filled out the form and within a short time I had a telephone call and email from Melissa at Techjockey, giving me 5 options that fit our criteria. Those 5 companies all contacted me that day and we got conversations/demos/in-person visits all arranged during that first day! Each of the companies provided excellent information that I can utilize. Highly recommend Techjockey!

“Privacy First and Control in My Hands”

I feel secure because I can decide whether my documents are saved or erased after scanning. Although the reports are quite thorough, there are moments when they seem excessive when I am only searching for short-term solutions.

Pros : They also include data privacy option where it lets me decide if I want my documents to be stored or deleted after scanning.

Cons : The detailed reports are good but they can be a little too much when I just what to look at the quick fixes.

Reason to switch : ProWritingAid was good, but PlagScan gave me the control and accuracy that I was looking for.

“Flexible and Gets the Job Done”

I have found PlagScan to be useful, especially because it can manage a variety of file formats, including Word documents, PDFs, and plain text. It took me some time to figure out the advanced functions, but fundamental tests are simple.

Pros : I like that it supports multiple file formats. I can upload PDFs, Word docs or even plain text files. It is flexible which is a lifesaver.

Cons : It is simple for basic checks but it takes some time to figure out some of the advanced settings.

Reason to switch : Plagiarism Checker X did not offer the same flexibility and better overall features than PlagScan.

“Reliable and Catches Everything”

Its detection is excellent—it catches even obscure sources that I might have missed. The reports are super detailed, which makes it easier to fix issues quickly. The only downside is that you need an internet connection to use it.

Cons : Internet connection is required since there is no offline version. If your internet is not working properly, you are stuck.

“PlagScan Makes Teamwork a Breeze”

It has been perfect for group work because it is quite easy to share results with colleagues. My only complaint is that, in comparison to other tools, I have observed a few sources that are missing.

Pros : It is great for collaboration since I get to share results with teammates easily. It is perfect for group projects or co-authored papers.

Cons : I feel like the source database could be bigger. I have noticed that some sources do not get flagged. Other tools have a more extensive database.

Reason to switch : I wanted a solution that was more user-friendly and that was better suited for sharing results with others. PlagScan fits my workflow.

Cons : The free version is limited and does not offer much. If you are scanning anything important, you will need a paid plan.

It indicates the precise passages in my writing that require attention and displays percentages and linked sources. The main drawback is that it occasionally marks ordinary sentences as plagiarism.

Pros : The reports are detailed. I can see matched sources, percentages and even the parts of my text that need fixing.

Cons : It flags common phrases as plagiarism occasionally, which is annoying to sift through.

Reason to switch : I moved from WriterZen since it was more focused on content creation and SEO rather than plagiarism.
