Pros : Palo Alto NGFW is an excellent option for acting as the first line of defence because of its proactive malware screening, controlled access, and regular content upgrades. Updating and maintaining the system is easy, even for a rookie.

Cons : Interface performance, as evaluated in our lab, is marginally slower than that of rival platforms.

“"The Best Next Generation Firewall For your Organization: PALO ALTO"”

Pros : Palo Alto NGFW's proactive malware screening, controlled access, and ongoing content upgrades make it a great choice for serving as the first line of defense . From a novice to an expert, updating and maintaining the system is simple.

Cons : Palo Alto's technical assistance department is one of its shortcomings. Our experiences troubleshooting with their recommendations have been inconsistent. Since every setting is unique, there may not be a single solution that works for all situations. This is something that needs to be kept in mind at all times.

Pros : The most useful feature for debugging and capturing interesting traffic flow is the graphical user interface (GUI). As opposed to cli firewalls, where you must always stay and define filters

Cons : Updates and patches. While I acknowledge that these are required, I would prefer a consolidated upgrade versus a patch update.
