“Affordable Antivirus with Slow Scans”

The reason I choose Guardian NetSecure is because it is reasonably priced when compared to big antivirus brands. It offers good protection that fits well within my budget. After using it for 2 months the full scans can be a bit slow.

Pros : What really attracted me to the software was that it has very reasonable pricing when compared to some of the bigger antivirus brands.

Cons : After using it for 2 months I have found out that the scans are slower than what I would like, especially while multitasking.

Switched from : Norton Antivirus

Reason to switch : Norton was way too expensive for my budget which is why I switched to Guardian NetSecure.

“Simple Dashboard but Lacks Customization Options”

The simple dashboard makes it easy to navigate and configure settings without getting lost. That said, I feel like the customization options for security settings are limited.

Pros : I found that whenever I needed to explore the application the dashboard was always simple, I could easily navigate and customize the settings.

Cons : Guardian NetSecure has very few customization options over the security settings.

Switched from : AdGuard

Reason to switch : AdGuard was too focused on features like ad blocking and did not offer full antivirus protection. Guardian NetSecure gives me a broader security solution.

“Easy to Install”

I am not very tech-savvy, but installing the software in my system is surprisingly simple and hassle-free. It provides protection, but I cannot help how the interface feels old-fashioned. It gets the job done and that is what matters.

Pros : I found out the installation was easy and even for someone who is not as tech-savvy as me, I felt like it was straightforward and not as complex as my previous software.

Cons : Although functional, the interface did not seem attractive and felt somewhat outdated compared to other antivirus software.

Switched from : Mcafee Antivirus

Reason to switch : I wanted something more straightforward without too many features since I am not very tech-savvy. This was the sole reason I switched from McAfee.

“Dependable for Everyday Use”

Guardian NetSecure has been a smooth experience. It gives me solid protection against viruses, malware, and spyware. I wish it had more advanced features and premium security options.

Pros : I like how the antivirus software gives me complete protection, I feel safe knowing that it protects my PC from viruses, malware, and spyware.

Cons : However, it lacks the advanced tools that are offered by other premium security software.

Switched from : Quick Heal Total Security

Reason to switch : I switched to Guardian NetSecurity because it is simpler to use than Quick Heal. The previous software had too many features I did not use.

“Strong Firewall Protection”

I like how secure and safe the software keeps my browsing with its strong firewall protection. I feel secure online knowing there is an extra layer of defence.

Pros : It gives good firewall protection and an added layer of protection while I am browsing on the internet.

Cons : Some features require the internet for use. Some tools do not work offline which can be inconvenient.

Switched from : AV3 Tools

Reason to switch : AV3 Tools did not offer reliable firewall protection, Guardian NetSecure meets this need better.

“Excellent Privacy Protection”

It does a wonderful job of protecting my sensitive information and keeping me safe from phishing attempts. But sometimes I question its reliability since it is not as well-known.

Pros : I feel like it does a wonderful job in protecting my privacy, it really keeps my sensitive information safe from phishing attempts.

Cons : I sometimes wonder why it is not as popular as other antivirus and makes me question its reliability.

Switched from : Avast Antivirus

Reason to switch : I switched from Avast because it feels too bloated with features I do not use. While Guardian NetSecure focuses on privacy protection, which is what I exactly needed.

“Great Parental Controls, but Only for PC”

Being a parent it is important to keep your children in control. Guardian NetSecurity has provided me with parental controls where I can easily manage my kid’s online activities. However, I wished it worked on mobile devices too.

Pros : It offers good parental controls; I can easily manage my kids’ online activity, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that this feature is there in the software.

Cons : It lacks cross-platform compatibility, I sometimes wished that it worked on my mobile devices as well, not just my PC.

Switched from : AVG Internet Security

Reason to switch : AVG did not give the amount of parental control that Guardian NetSecure has, which is perfect for my needs as a parent.

“Convenient Auto Updates”

The automatic updates from Guardian NetSecure are a great plus since I do not have to worry about checking for updates. I wish however, they offered a better cloud storage option.

Pros : The software auto-updates, and I don’t need to manually check for updates. This makes it easier for someone who does not check if all apps are up to date.

Cons : I really do not like it when they do not offer a solid cloud storage solution, it feels like they missed an opportunity.

Switched from : Kaspersky Antivirus

Reason to switch : I moved from Kaspersky because it was a bit too complicated. Guardian NetSecure is much simpler, and it takes care of updates on its own.

“Lightweight but Pop-Ups are annoying”

What I love most about Guardian NetSecure is its lightweight structure. It does not slow down my system, so I can work, browse, and play games without any lag. However, the occasional pop-ups with notifications can get annoying at times.

Pros : Unlike some other antiviruses, it offers a very lightweight performance and does not slow down my system. I work and play games without any interruptions.

Cons : There are occasional pop-ups that are sometimes annoying since they come as constant notifications.

Switched from : Intego Antivirus

Reason to switch : Intego Antivirus was heavier on my system and the slowdowns were noticeable. I needed something faster and simpler.

“Great Local Support but Basic Malware Detection”

I appreciate that Guardian NetSecure has a local support team that is quick to help whenever I need assistance. However, its malware detection is basic, and I have read that it might struggle with newer or advanced threats.

Pros : Guardian NetSecure offers very reassuring help that is easily available from the local support team whenever needed.

Cons : It offers basic malware detection from my experience. I have read that it is not as effective against newer or advanced threats.

Switched from : 360 Total Security

Reason to switch : I switched from 360 Total Security since it did not have the best support and was difficult to reach when I had issues.
