“useful for big projects”

AVS Audio Editor helps me save a lot of time because I can work on several audio files at once. This is useful for big projects. However the options for saving my work are not very advanced, and I would like more choices to improve the final sound.

Pros : I love how functional its batch processing is, it can process multiple files at once and saves me a lot of time when working on large projects.

Cons : Its export options are limited and somewhat basic; I really wish I had more control over advanced audio encoding.

Switched from : Murf ai

Reason to switch : I moved from Murf.ai to AVS Audio Editor because I needed a tool that could easily handle a lot of files at once. Murf.ai was good for voiceovers, but it was not as good for working with many files or for basic editing like AVS Audio Editor is.

“Great for Live Recording but Support Needs Improvement”

I really like that AVS Audio Editor lets me record sound right in the program. It is easy when I want to capture live audio without extra equipment. But when I had a problem, I noticed that help was hard to find, and it took a long time to get answers for my tech issues.

Pros : I love how unique its integrated audio recording is as it as the ability to record audio into the editor when I want to capture live sound without using separate tools.

Cons : I was stuck with a problem and found that the support options were limited, with responses taking longer than expected for technical issues.

Switched from : Logic Pro X

Reason to switch : I made a mover to AVS Audio Editor from Logic Pro X because I needed something simpler and more affordable. Logic Pro X had way more features but was too complex and expensive for my basic needs.

“Basic and Lacks Advanced Precision”

A solid choice for basic audio editing as it handles tasks easily which can cover the simple needs of a casual user. But I was disappointed with some of the effects like the pitch correction, as it was not ideal for professional usage.

Pros : AVS Audio Editor gives a lot of essential features like cutting, trimming, and merging audio files which covers most of my basic needs.

Cons : Although it provides basic essential features, some effects like pitch correction, do not perform as well as I had hoped. They are fine for light use not for professional.

Switched from : Easy Spotify Music Converter

Reason to switch : I switched to AVS Audio Editor because I needed a more versatile tool for editing audio files. Easy Spotify Music Converter was great for music conversion but lacked editing features.

Reason to switch : I switched to AVS Audio Editor from Descript because I wanted something easier for basic editing. Descript was good for turning speech into text, but it was too complicated for what I needed. AVS Audio Editor is better for fast and simple editing.

AVS has been a reliable tool for me, especially since it supports so many audio formats. I never have to stress about my files being compatible. However, I do miss having plugin support.

Pros : I do not have to worry about compatibility when working with different files because it supports a variety of audio formats.

Cons : One of the noticeably big flaws is that it has no plugin support, it does not allow for third-party plugin integration, which feels limiting.

Reason to switch : I switched to AVS Audio Editor because it was the more affordable option with simple features.

“Lightweight but Watermark in Trial Version”

AVS Audio Editor works well on older computers, which is great for me since I do not have the newest one. But the free version adds a watermark to your files when you save them, which can be frustrating if you just want to use it casually.

Pros : It does not hog my system’s resources, so I can even run it on older hardware but must make sure it is Windows.

Cons : In the free version of the software, there is an annoying watermark when you must export files, making it less appealing for casual use.

Switched from : GarageBand

Reason to switch : I started using AVS Audio Editor instead of GarageBand because it was easier and lighter for quick changes. GarageBand was too complicated and used too many resources for what I needed.

Reason to switch : I changed from WavePad to AVS Audio Editor because I wanted a program that works better and gets updates more often. WavePad was okay for simple edits, but it did not get better regularly like AVS Audio Editor does.
