Tax season used to be a stressful time, but with Ascent Payroll, it’s much more manageable. The software automatically handles tax calculations and ensures that we’re always up to date with TDS returns and statutory deductions. It even generates forms like Form-16, which makes it easy for employees to file their taxes. Overall, it’s been a great help in keeping our payroll compliant with tax regulations.
Pros : Tax management is a lot easier with Ascent Payroll. The system automatically calculates income tax, generates TDS returns, and even provides forms like Form-16, which are ready to use during tax season.
Cons : While the tax calculations are accurate, sometimes it can be confusing to adjust the parameters if there are changes in tax rules. A little more flexibility would make this easier.

I’ve found Ascent Payroll really helpful for keeping track of employee loans and advances. The ability to maintain job history and update earnings and deductions in bulk makes it easier for us to manage the system efficiently. It also offers a feature to process supplementary payroll, which ensures that no employee is left out of any payroll cycle.
Pros : It’s very convenient that Ascent Payroll can store detailed employee job history. The mass update feature for earnings and deductions is a helpful addition, allowing us to update salary information in one go instead of individually.
Cons : While useful, it would benefit from having more customization options to adapt to the unique needs of different organizations. It’s functional, but some aspects feel rigid when trying to fit specific requirements.
