To download a single variant of a file in JDownloader, follow the steps given below:
- Open the Download tab
- Choose the files as per your need
- Go back to the download tab and left-click on any file
- Disable the selected files.

To transfer your old downloads from an older setup to a newer one, follow the steps given below:
- Click on Option
- Go to ‘Save to’ tab
- Export the Temporary directory folder’s registry key
- After reinstalling your new system, export the key and the temporary file to the new one
- Rerun the application.
