How to fix a corrupted file that I downloaded using IDM?

A:

Once the file has been downloaded and got corrupted, there is nothing one can do to fix it other than opening the folder and manually visiting each sub-folder and deleting the corrupted files.

The other alternative could be to take certain measures while downloading the file via IDM:

  • Change the proxy server
  • Try availing another internet provider
  • Make use of a VPN connection
