To draw a beach with waves in GIMP, follow the steps given below:
- Create a new canvas
- Draw a curved line that acts as a horizon
- For the upper division, i.e., the sky, choose a lighter shade of sky blue, and for the lower division, use the color code of #FFDB58 for the sand
- Set the value gaussian blur to 35% and then move it across the canvas
- Do this a few more times, creating a new layer with a deeper blue tone each time
- Select the ‘Water brush’ from the brush library and create a make the waves.
