To draw smoke on Procreate, follow the steps given below:
- Create a new canvas, add liner gradient with darker shade of blue on the top and a lighter shade at the bottom. This will be the background layer
- Make a new layer and top it over the background one
- Using Gouache paint brush and then vaguely move the brush to shade the darker shade of the smoke
- Change the pressure and lighten up the color to give your drawing some mass
- Use smudge tool to soften the edges of the smoke
- Finally, blend the corners and there you have it, a good smoky effect.
