What is the difference between OCR and OMR?

KASHINATH YEDVI . Apr 25, 2023

A:
  • Information from printed forms is processed using OMR. However, many kinds of documents are scanned and converted using OCR.
  • OMR utilizes symbols and calls for time tracking. OCR, on the other hand, uses a variety of text and shapes and doesn't require time tracking.
  • OMR enables the storage of documents. OCR, on the other hand, doesn't keep records of documents.
  • Compared to OCR, OMR is more accurate.
