How can an admin declare employee’s LTA?

To declare an employee's LTA (Leave Travel Allowance), the admin should follow the steps given below:

  • Go to the greytHR Admin portal
  • Click on Payroll
  • From the dropdown, select Payroll Inputs
  • Then, choose Income Tax
  • On the Income Tax page, use the search box to find the employee by name or number
  • After the details are displayed, click on the Exemptions tab to expand it
  • Look for the Other Exemptions section and select the LTA Exemption
  • Enter the required LTA amount in the provided spin box
  • Click on Save to declare the LTA
