To configure penalization for work hour shortage on Keka:
- Go to Time Attend > Attendance Tracking, open the Tracking Policy tab, and select the relevant policy from the list.
- In the Versions section, click on the update icon for the Current tracking policy.
- In the new window, set the effective date for the policy and click Save and then continue until you reach the Work Hours section.
- In this section, choose Yes to penalize work hour shortages.
- Decide if the penalization is based on Gross hours or Effective hours. Select the Deduction Period and define the leave deduction policy accordingly.
