Why use Steampunk Spotter when we already have ansible-lint?

To do this you have to:

• Open the dnf.conf file.
• Add the exclude directive in the [main] section.
• Save the changes.

The difference between them is that in v8, the RHCSA level tasks using RHEL 8 and ansible 2.8 whereas in v9, RHEL 9 is used to task RHCSA level along with ansible-core 2.12+.

One way to do that is by getting the output with register and storing it in a local file. Then make the python script read the file. Take this information and store it into a variable.

For a first ansible playbook you should start with a small and simple task, till you get familiar with the syntax. Always try using in-built modules instead of writing custom codes. You should use version control to track any changes made to ansible.

You need to have one file per host or a VM in the host_vars containing all the information for provisioning. This information is here to allow ansible to configure the host or VM. Inventory is easy and only groups. All you need to do is use ansible and ansible_facts to collect information and keep it in a database or file.
