How to change properties of door after deselecting and then reselecting?

 To adjust the rendered spline:

1. Choose a shape
2. Click on the Modifiers menu
3. Select Patch/Spline Editing
4. Select Renderable Spline Modifier

From the Rendering menu, choose render setup. Select the control panel from the dialog box. Another dialog box for common parameters is displayed. Here, in the Area to Render section, choose the Selected option from the drop down.

To clear the rotation of all bones, use A twice and select all, then press Alt + R to clear rotation. The bones will now be reset to their real rotations.

If the model material is not showing when merged or imported into a scene, check if the material file paths are correct. Ensure that the material files are located in the same folder as the scene file.
