Go to VFX tab or right-click video track > Effects > Add > Titles.
Drag Titles to your video track.
Click the text box and type your content.
Drag the text box in the preview to position it.
Adjust text duration by dragging the edges of the text clip in the timeline.

Add clips to timeline: green screen on the bottom track, background video on the top track.

By default, projects in Lightworks are saved in the public drive of the device. You can change the location if required.

You don't get a separate render function in Lightworks, your file gets rendered at the time of export.
