How to add text in OpenShot?

OpenShot doesn't have built-in functionality to directly import and display subtitles within the video editor itself.

Slow down video in OpenShot:

Simple Slowdown:

1. Right-click clip on timeline.
2. Choose "Properties".
3. Select desired slow-motion preset (e.g., Slow 1/2).

Precise Slowdown:

1. Right-click clip, choose "Properties".
2. Enable "Timeline" linking for "Frame Number".
3. Set start and end frame numbers based on desired slow-motion and original clip length.

To add a logo in OpenShot:

1. Import logo image (Project Files > Import Files).
2. Drag logo to timeline above your video.
3. Resize and position using corner handles.
4. (Optional) Right-click logo, select Properties to adjust transparency.
5. Preview and export your video with the logo.

To add music in Openshot, drag and drop your video and audio files into the Project Files area.

By default, OpenShot might only show one video and audio track. If you want separate tracks for your video and background music, right-click on the timeline and choose Add Track as needed.
Drag your video clip to the video track on the timeline.
Drag your audio clip to the desired audio track on the timeline. You can position the audio wherever you want it to play relative to the video.
Use the preview window to see how your video and audio work together. Once happy, export your final video with the new audio using the Export Video option.

Exporting your finished video from OpenShot is a straightforward process:

Export Menu: Locate the File menu at the top left corner of the OpenShot interface. Click on it to open the file menu options.

Export Video: Within the File menu, select the Export Video option. This will initiate the export process.

Export Settings: A window will appear with various export settings for your video. Here's a quick breakdown of the key options:

• Profile: Choose a preset profile (e.g., YouTube 1080p) or customize settings for resolution, frame rate, and audio quality.
• Filename: Specify the name you want to give to your exported video file.
• Location: Browse and select the destination folder where you want to save the exported video.
• Export Button: Once you've reviewed or adjusted the export settings, click the Export Video button at the bottom of the window.
