To insert text in Final Cut Pro, follow the steps given below:
- Choose a title clip in the timeline of Final Cut Pro
- Shift the playhead over the title clip that was selected
- Now, you can either
- Simply go to ‘Text inspector’ and choose ‘Text’ & input the text for the title
OR
- Choose a different text object by pressing on the ‘Previous Text Layer’ or ‘Next Text Layer’ button in the inspector or the viewer
- Click twice on a different text object
- Input new text as required
- Now you can exit the text editing screen by pressing Command + Return.
