How do I customize the subject field picklist in the Tasks module based on logged in user role in Zoho CRM?

A:

Zoho CRM does not offer picklist customization based on user’s role. However, user with the administrative access can modify the subject field picklist in following manner:

  • Tap on Setup > Customization > Modules and field
  • Choose Task Module
  • Click on Layout and then click Edit Layout
  • Tap on Edit Properties
  • Choose the default value
  • Update the values under Pick List Option
  • Tap Save Changes
