Fold Health, a health technology startup, recently announced the successful completion of a funding round, raising an impressive $6 million. Iron Pillar spearheaded the round.

Moreover, the round attracted prominent investors such as Dr. Christine Cassel, Dr. Rushika Fernandopulle, Anurag Jain, Dr. Molly Coye, and Anurag Jain. They all recognized the company’s potential and joined in the investment.

The latest investment made Fold Health’s funding $12m. According to a statement released by Fold Health, the newly acquired capital will be utilized to expand the business and attract top-notch professionals.

Fold Health was established in 2021 by Abhijeet Gupta and Ram Sahasranam. It is a comprehensive healthcare solution designed for medical providers. By seamlessly integrating with electronic health records, Fold Health empowers its users to streamline their operations by utilizing software tools for automated tasks.

The notable features offered by Fold Health encompass a workflow engine that significantly automates various responsibilities of value-based providers. These include closing care gaps, managing transitional care, completing annual wellness visits, engaging high-risk patients, and ensuring patient attribution growth and protection.

The startup has recently established a research and development office in Pune, India, where it currently has a team of 40 employees. With the intention of further growth, the company focuses on expanding its workforce in the United States, where it employs nine individuals.

For instance, HealthifyMe, a startup focused on health technology, recently secured $30 million in a pre-Series D funding round. Similarly, HealthPlix, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) health tech startup, raised $22 million during its Series C funding round. These developments highlight the increasing investment and interest in the health tech field.
