New Delhi: OpenAI’s ChatGPT has recently introduced voice chat feature for iOS and Android devices. This feature was launched in September and initially it was only available with Plus and Enterprise plans. However, this feature is now accessible for free users as well.
It is very easy to use this feature, simply visit your ChatGPT dashboard and you will find a Headphone icon on the bottom right corner. Click on it and your voice chat feature will start.
Once you have launched the voice chat feature, you can then choose a voice for the AI chatbot. You will get 5 options to choose from and each of the options will have a different tone and voice. Moreover, the interface of voice chat windows is different from their standard ones for a hands-free chat experience.
This means that you will not have to press any button to talk, you can start speaking and ChatGPT will listen to it patiently. You can even exit the app and do your other tasks for better multitasking.
The ChatGPT’s interaction and adaptability while conversation easily surpasses Apple’s Siri and Google Assistant in terms of natural delivery. Furthermore, once your conversation is over, you will get a chat transcription in the chat window.
