There are two ways to cut a video in Filmora, one is manual and the other is automated:
Manual:Import the clip in Filmora and select the split icon from toolbar. You can now trim the part you mean to remove by splitting it from the entire clip and delete that part of the video from toolbar.
Automated:Go to the Scene Detection function from the scene detection window. Click on detect and all the parts of the video will be seperated based on scene changes. Now you can delete the unwanted parts from the video as required.
Import the file in your desired format, Filmora currently supports MP4, HEVC with Alpha, ProRes4444 with Alpha, and WebM VP9. After the editing is done, you can export the file in MP4 by selecting the format settings from Local tab.
At the time of exporting the video from Filmora, you can select the resolutions from the resolution settings from local tab.
You can change the Frame Rate of a video in Filmora by going to the settings interface and adjusting the frame rate settings. From the available FFS value options, select the desired option and click on OK.
To add timer to a video in Filmora, click on the Effects menu and select the Timer option. Here, you will get a range of different timers that you can drag and drop on to your video. You can also customize the properties of this timer, such as size, speed, opacity, position, style, and duration. Once that is done, render and export the file.
To save a video edited on Filmora, click on the export button, select the location, format, output resolution, frame rate, size, and duration of the video. Choose the file name and click on Ok. The file will be saved to your desired location.
Ideally, to remove the watermark from Filmora videos, you should upgrade to its paid plan. However, there are some free watermark remover applications online that can do the task for you. All you would need to do is upload the footage to these applications, select the watermark area and export this new file.
But I belive these applications can reduce the video quality a bit, so look out for that.
