Is there a way to move the pivot point when rotating a selection for verts?

Select the object to be rotated.
Choose a transform tool.
Enter the custom Pivot mode by choosing the Edit Pivot from Tool Settings.
Drag the Custom Pivot Manipulator to move the pivot to desired spot.

Why Vray does not render objects in my scene?

If Vray is not rendering objects in your scene, check if the objects have valid Vray materials assigned to them. Also, ensure that the Vray renderer is selected as the active renderer in 3ds Max or you can render the object by using default scanline renderer.
