“Safe Browsing but Needs Smoother Updates”

The secure browsing function of REVE Antivirus is something I appreciate because it has prevented me from visiting dubious websites on a few occasions. However, I have found that occasionally upgrades might be glitchy, resulting in small issues that need to be fixed.

Pros : It really protects you from online presence. Being a very privacy-conscious user, the safe browsing feature has prevented me from visiting shady websites a couple of times.

Cons : I have seen that it does have occasional updates that are buggy. After certain updates, I have encountered minor glitches that need troubleshooting.

Switched from : Central

Reason to switch : Since Central did not provide the same degree of online security I needed; I moved to REVE Antivirus. For me, REVE was a superior option because of its emphasis on privacy and secure browsing.

“Custom Scans but Limited Reviews”

I really appreciate how REVE Antivirus saves me a ton of time by allowing me to tailor my scans to concentrate on files and folders. I was first apprehensive about my choice, though, because there are not many impartial reviews of the software.

Pros : The customizable scans are a big plus for me. I appreciate that I can set it up to scan only the specific files and folders which saves time for me.

Cons : I feel a bit skeptical that it has limited third-party reviews. I have noticed that it is not widely reviewed by trusted independent sources, which made me hesitant at first.

Switched from : CrowdStrike Falcon

Reason to switch : CrowdStrike Falcon was a little too complex and enterprise-focused for my personal uses. I prefer REVE’s simple and user-friendly approach.

“Responsive Customer Support, Firewall Could Be Better”

The round-the-clock customer service provided by REVE Antivirus is quite impressive; it is prompt and always beneficial when I have inquiries. The firewall feels a little simple, which is its one drawback. I wish it had more sophisticated customizing choices.

Pros : It offers one of the best customer support services and 24/7 support. Whenever I have had any questions, the customer support has been helpful, responsive, and available round the clock.

Cons : One of my only drawbacks about the software is that the firewall does seem quite basic, I feel like it could used more advanced customization options.

Switched from : Microsoft Defender

Reason to switch : Microsoft Defender did not have good customer service since I was running into system security problems a lot.
