Select the text and go to the Text Panel to customize text, like font, color, size, and spacing
to animate text in hitfilm:
Select the text layer and choose the property you want to animate
Click the stopwatch icon next to the property to set a keyframe at the current point.
Move the timeline cursor and adjust the property value.
Click the stopwatch again to set another keyframe.
Hit the play button to see your animated text!
You can use Ctrl+Z command to undo in Hitfilm express.
Visit Transitions, go to the Audio folder and drag the Fade effects onto your clip to add audio fade.
To add green screen in hitfilm, follow the following steps;
Select the video and the background you want to add.
Place these videos on two separate tracks and go to the Effects panel to find Green screen Key
Drag the Green screen Key onto the video and control the green screen settings on Controls panel
HitFilm does not offer any updates since June 2022 and users need to reinstall the software to update.
To export a video in HitFilm, find the export button in the top right corner of timeline in your Edit screen. Select the portion of timeline you want to export and continue the export process.
In HitFilm Express, click the New button in the Media panel, and select Composite Shot.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut Shift+CTRL+N to create a new composite shot.
To add text in HitFilm 4 Express, go to the Editor Panel, select the New Clip option, and press Text to add a new title.
