Why does FlashGet’s ‘Save As Default’ feature doesn't work at times?

To rectify this issue, one could try either of these alternatives:

Using Save and Compact technique.
Browse the library and select each image individually. One of the elements in the library would crash Flash, find that file and then delete it. Now simply reboot the application and you’d be good to go.
