“Contentful made content management easier, but the setup took some effort”

I used to use WordPress, but managing multiple sites with different templates became too chaotic. Contentful has simplified that for me by allowing me to centralize content in one place.

Pros : Contentful has been a game-changer in how I manage content across multiple platforms. One of the best things about it is the headless CMS approach, which allows me to manage content in one place and push it out to various platforms. This has saved me a lot of time, and I appreciate how easy it is to organize content without worrying about how it will display on the site.

Cons : The downside for me was the initial setup. It wasn’t something I could just dive into and start using right away. It required some technical setup and, at times, felt overwhelming. Also, while it’s great for managing content, I found myself relying heavily on developers for more complex tasks.

Switched from : Wix

Reason to switch : Contentful’s approach to content management was better suited for managing multiple platforms.

Pros : Contentful offers a range of functions that make content management better. From text formatting to adding new fields, everything is designed to be quick and easy.

Cons : One issue I’ve faced is with text formatting. Sometimes, leftover formatting from previous content can cause issues, and fixing it takes extra time.

Reason to switch : I wanted a CMS that was easier to work with and that offered better content management features.
