The main difference between Route 53 and Cloudfront is that Route 53 is a DNS service while Cloudfront is a CDN service that serves static and dynamic content. Cloudfront can be used with Route 53 Geolocation Routing. Although, the content delivery based on the location is enabled before-hand in cloudfront , so the geolocation policy is not of much help.

To use a single CloudFront web distribution to serve content from multiple origins by configuring multiple cache behaviors, follow these steps:

• From CloudFront console, go to web distribution.
• Select the Origins tab and create 2 origins, one for S3 bucket and another for the load balancer.
• Select the Behaviors tab and create a behavior.
• Specify a path pattern so that all the static content requests are routed to S3 Bucket.
• Edit the path pattern behavior in Default (*), setting its Origin as the load balancer.

Amazon S3 bucket, an AWS Lambda function URL, a Media Store container, an Application Load Balancer, and a Media Package channel, are the different types of origins supported by AWS CloudFront distribution.

By using Geo-Targeting, you can establish rules that link specific geographic locations with CloudFront behaviors. For instance, you can set up a rule to deliver content from a particular origin server or cache behavior to viewers located in a specific country or region.
